Archbishop Michael Kpala Francis who was born in Kakata, Margibi County in 1936 and later became a fearless clergy man and a renowned civil rights activist in Liberia has finally left us. As a practicing Catholic who also subscribe to the philosophy and ideology of the late Archbishop especially when it comes to the need to respect human dignity, I feel so said to see such a father, educator and a mentor leaving us.
Monrovia - Archbishop Michael Kpakala Francis, an outspoken clergy renowned for his fiery sermons and stance against brutal regimes of former presidents Samuel Doe and Charles Ghankay Taylor is dead.
Monrovia - Two fighters who lost their lives last week while on duty with the Liberia Fire Service have been buried.
Monrovia - Moses Blah, the soft-spoken sidekick to former President Charles Taylor, who replaced Taylor when Taylor left Liberia in 2003 is dead.
Monrovia - What a month it has been for basketball or year in general for sports. First it was Frank Jean Seator, who passed from labor to rest on February 12 at the Du-side Hospital in Firestone, Margibi County.
